Teofimo Defends Title, Dominates Claggett

On the night of June 30 in Miami, USA, WBO junior welterweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs) successfully defended his title for the second time against Steve Claggett (38-8-2, 26 KOs).

The bout went the full 12 rounds, ending with Lopez securing a unanimous decision victory. The judges' scores were 120-108 twice and 119-109.

This marks the fifth consecutive win for the 26-year-old Teofimo. Claggett, aged 35, had been on a nine-fight winning streak.

Teofimo Lopez landed 315 out of 946 punches (33.3%) accurately. Steve Сlaggett's accuracy stood at 140 out of 820 punches (17.1%).

Emiliano Vargas (11-0, 9 KOs) stopped Jose Zaragoza (9–9-2, 3 KOs) by technical knockout in the 1st round
