Ex-UFC champ Conor McGregor throws down the gauntlet to boxing legend Manny Pacquiao:
"Time for Manny to man up and step in the ring with me, heavier than usual. Why not? After all, boxing's his turf.
If he's expecting me to drop weight, then let's even the odds – how about allowing me to unleash some leg kicks, maybe take it to the ground? Sounds fair, right? So, what's it gonna be, Manny – hero or zero?" McGregor quipped to Talk Sport.
Conor's last MMA stint was in the summer of 2021, ending with a leg injury against Dustin Poirier. His boxing tally? A solitary early defeat to Floyd Mayweather.
Pacquiao's last fight was in August 2021, taking a loss to Yordenis Ugas at the welterweight cap. Post-fight, Manny hinted at a potential Olympic run in 2024.
