WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has commented on his potential fight against Derek Chisor on December 3 and compared him to WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
"In my opinion, Chisora deserved a draw in the fight with Usyk. So I see Chisora as dangerous in every way as Usyka. Did you watch this fight? It was a very good fight, very close. And I thought Chisora deserved a chance."
"Usyk's manager also scored a draw in that fight, if I remember correctly. So Chisora is no small thing."
We will remind, Fury and Chisora can hold a face-to-face fight on December 3 in Cardiff. The representatives of the boxers agreed on all the terms of the match. An official announcement about the fight should be made in the near future.
For Fury and Chisora, this will be the third face-to-face confrontation in their careers. Before that, the Gypsy King defeated Derek twice - in 2011 and 2014.
Tyson was supposed to fight with the British Anthony Joshua, but the parties were unable to agree on terms and sign a contract for the fight. Fury's side claims that AJ's promoter, Eddie Hearn, is to blame for the collapse of the match.
