The recently announced rematch between the undisputed world super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and the holder of the IBF, WBA, and WBO featherweight titles Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) is already breaking records.
This fight will become the most expensive bout in the history of women’s boxing. According to the Irish Independent, Katie Taylor will receive $6 million for the match.
This bout will be the co-main event of a tournament where Jake Paul will face Mike Tyson. The showdown will take place at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The boxing evening will be broadcasted on Netflix for its subscribers. Taylor and Serrano first squared off in April 2022, with Katie winning by a split decision.
