Taylor and Catterall Agree to Rematch!

ESPN insider Mike Coppinger reports that former undisputed super lightweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) from Scotland, Josh Taylor (19-1, 13 KOs), and Briton Jack Catterall (28-1, 13 KOs) have agreed to a rematch.

According to sources, the fight is set to take place on April 27th in Leeds, United Kingdom.

Taylor and Catterall first fought in February 2022, where Taylor won by a split decision in a closely contested match. Josh's next fight after this was a loss to Teofimo Lopez. Since that defeat, Catterall has fought twice, winning both times.
