On May 25 in Leeds, UK, the rematch between Scotland’s former undisputed junior welterweight champion Josh Taylor (19-1, 13 KOs) and Britain’s Jack Catterall (28-1, 13 KOs) will take place.
Ahead of the bout, the fighters underwent the weigh-in ceremony. Both athletes made weight for the junior welterweight division (up to 63.5 kg):
Josh Taylor: 63.3 kg (139.6 lbs)
Jack Catterall: 63.4 kg (139.8 lbs)
In their first fight, Taylor defeated Catterall by split decision. This was Josh’s first and only defense of his undisputed world champion status – he subsequently lost 3 of the 4 titles, and the last remaining WBO belt he lost in a bout against Teofimo Lopez.
