Taylor: «Usyk Beats Joshua 10 out of 10 Times»

Former undisputed super lightweight champion (up to 63.5 kg) Josh Taylor (19-1, 13 KOs) believes that Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs), despite his extremely confident performances after bouts against Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), will not be able to defeat the Ukrainian if they meet again.

- Can Joshua, in his current form, win a possible third fight against Usyk?

- I don't think so, no. I believe Usyk beats Joshua 10 times out of 10. Unless, obviously, Joshua catches him with a powerful punch. I just think Usyk's movement, his boxing IQ, his overall boxing intelligence beats Joshua 10 times out of 10.

I'm not being harsh on him or disrespectful. It's just my opinion. I just think Joshua will struggle with him every time. Unless he changes his tactics to something more physical. You need to use your strength — that might work. But I don't see it," said Taylor.

Usyk and Joshua have fought twice – in 2021 and 2022, with Oleksandr winning by judges' decision both times. Usyk's next fight is scheduled for May 18th – for the title of the undisputed heavyweight champion against British Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).

After his knockout victory in the second round over Francis Ngannou on March 8th, Anthony Joshua plans to return to the ring in the summer. A bout against the winner of Usyk vs. Fury is also being considered.
