No Smoke Boxing reports that Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) and Amazon Prime may be preparing bouts between Benavidez – Gvozdyk and Gervonta – Martin as part of the same show.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman announced that the fight for the "interim" light heavyweight title (up to 79,4 kg) between David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1, 16 KOs) will take place on June 15th.
On the same date, another fight is planned between WBA lightweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) and Frank Martin (18-0, 12 KOs).
The bouts featuring Gervonta and Benavidez are to be streamed on the same platform — Amazon Prime, which has been collaborating with the promotional company RVS since 2024.
Oleksandr Gvozdyk's last fight took place in September of the previous year against Isaac Rodriguez (28-5, 22 KOs), in which the Ukrainian won by knockout. David Benavidez entered the ring in November against Demetrius Andrade (32-1, 19 KOs) and won after Andrade's corner stopped the fight.
In April, Gervonta Davis knocked out Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) in the 7th round, and Frank Martin in July won by unanimous decision against Artem Arutyunyan (12-1, 7 KOs).
