Sulaiman Presents WBC Belt for the Usyk vs. Fury Fight

On April 15th, a press conference was held concerning the fight for the undisputed light heavyweight world championship (up to 79.37 kg) between titleholders Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) and WBA and IBO champion Dmitry Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs).

Before the event, WBC President and advisor to Ready To Fight, Mauricio Sulaiman, unveiled a special Council belt that will be on the line for the heavyweight world championship fight (over 90.7 kg) between WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs).

One side of the belt features the colors of the British flag, while the other side displays the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The winner will also receive the Undisputed title – the first-ever belt created with the support of all four major professional boxing organizations: WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF.

The fight is scheduled for May 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
