WBC President and advisor for Ready To Fight, Mauricio Sulaiman, responded to concerns about the emotional state of Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) ahead of his fight with WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs).
"Ryan had some concerning posts on social media, but we talked to him, and he's doing great; he's training.
Social media is vast and has a significant impact both positively and negatively. Let's just focus on what will happen in the ring," said Suleiman.
Recall, on April 16th, Garcia and Haney had a face-off on the roof of the Empire State Building, where Devin pushed Ryan. The fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney is scheduled for April 20th in New York, USA.
