"Stoppage by Round 8-9." Wilder’s Coach Picks the Winner of Adames vs. Sheeraz

Malik Scott, trainer of former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder, provided an in-depth breakdown of the upcoming Carlos Adames vs. Hamzah Sheeraz fight for the WBC Middleweight Title, set to take place on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

"Hamzah vs. Adames could easily be the main event of this stacked card.

Hamzah has the edge in everything—power, speed, size, and agility. I believe Sheeraz is going to win this fight.

That said, he’ll need to be cautious early on because Adames carries serious power, especially in the opening rounds. However, that power fades over time—he doesn’t have the kind of punching strength that lasts deep into fights. I also don’t think he’s ever faced someone with the kind of skillset and dimensions Sheeraz brings to the ring.

I predict Sheeraz stops him in the 8th or 9th round." – said Scott.
