Shakur Offers Himself as a Replacement for Ryan

WBC lightweight (up to 61,2 kg) champion Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) has reached out to the father of WBC super lightweight (up to 63,5 kg) champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), Bill, indicating his readiness to replace Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) in their fight.

"I reached out to Bill Haney and got no response. But we would like to step in, especially in New York.

We would sell the fight, it’s a big fight," Stevenson tweeted.

Ryan Garcia's behavior has raised concerns not only among fans but also with WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman.

The fight between Haney and Garcia is scheduled for April 20 in New York.
