Status of Gervonta Davis – Jake Paul Fight: Promoter Explains

Promoter of American Heavyweight boxer and influencer Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, has clarified whether the fight against Gervonta Davis will be an exhibition.

“The initial plan was for Gervonta to face Jake after his fight with Roach. The result essentially changed nothing, but waiting for Davis’ decision led Jake to step in the ring against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

We are still determining the fight’s status. Jake will definitely have to come in under 200 pounds (90.7 kg), the division he previously fought at. What I can say for certain is that this will be a proper fight with a clear result — either by knockout or judges’ decision,” said Bidarian.

The bout between Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) and Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) will take place on November 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and will be streamed live on Netflix.
