It became known when Eubank Jr. and Liam Smith will enter the ring

The fight between ex-middleweight world champion Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23 KOs) and Liam Smith (32-3-1, 19 KOs) will officially take place on January 21 in Manchester.

It will be recalled that Eubank Jr. twice held the title of interim WBA middleweight champion. In the last fight in February 2022, Chris won by decision of the referee Liam Williams.

In October, 33-year-old Eubank was supposed to fight Conor Benn. The fight was canceled after it was revealed that Ben had twice tested positive for doping.

Former welterweight world champion Liam Smith has had two fights this year. In his last fight, in September, Smith defeated Hassan Mwakino by technical knockout.
