Ukrainian boxer, WBA Super, IBF and WBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk announced that he was going to return to Ukraine after a rematch with Briton Anthony Joshua.
“As soon as I finish the fight and sort out all the other things, I will immediately go to Ukraine. If I have a fight on the 20th, then on the 22nd I will be in Ukraine, ”Usyk says.
Recall that the first meeting of the fighters was held in October 2021 in Nottingham (UK). The winner of the fight was the Ukrainian, who confidently outboxed Joshua in 12 rounds and took away his WBA Super, IBF and WBO titles.
The rematch between Joshua and Usyk will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
Note that Usyk has not suffered a single defeat in his professional career. He has 19 victories in 19 fights.
