Boxer Oleksandr Usyk impressed everyone with his Cossack style at the press conference before the rematch with Anthony Joshua. The designer shared the details of how this look was developed.
The "Cossack image" for Usyk was developed by the Damirli brand. This is not the first time they have collaborated - the image of "Joker" for a boxer is also their work.
This time, Usyk decided to go out in the image of a Cossack. The founder and creative director of the brand, Elvira Hasanova, told details about this image, which was completely made in Ukraine.
"The idea of the image belongs to Oleksandr. He has a very well-developed imagination. He knows exactly what he wants to convey in his own way. We already had a detailed discussion and agreement on all the details. In this ethnic image, we used exclusively Ukrainian materials and ornament, so that everything was according to classical rules. Every detail was made very carefully," said Elvira Hasanova.
According to her, the clothes are made of linen, and all the embroidery was done by hand. Almost two weeks were spent on the shirt.
"I don't think that we will repeat such an image for anyone. It is an author's work, so it makes no sense to consider its value," the designer said.
