Former British boxer Spencer Oliver has shared his thoughts on who might be Tyson Fury’s next opponent following his second consecutive loss to Oleksandr Usyk.
“He needs to take some well-earned rest and just decide what he wants to do with his career now.
He’s achieved everything, hasn’t he? He took the risk, tried to avenge his loss, but it didn’t work out. It was another great fight.
What more does he have to prove? What else can he do? I’ll tell you what’s likely to happen. I think I’m right.
The next fight will be Anthony Joshua versus Tyson Fury. Why? Because Saudi Arabia wants it, and I know Turki Alalshikh wants it. He’s looking for the biggest fight with the best boxers of this era. That’s the next fight for both of them,” Oliver said.
Tyson Fury has lost his last two bouts against Oleksandr Usyk by split decision and unanimous decision, respectively.
