Spence: "Ready to Kick Ryan's Ass"

Former unified welterweight world champion Errol Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) expressed his readiness to fight Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs).

"I'm ready to kick his ass at AT&T Stadium at 154 or 160 pounds because of his positive doping test, but I need to get in the right mindset. 'Tank' (Gervonta Davis) couldn't finish you because you, scoundrel, just gave up. We all knew what you're like. Go find someone else to play with.

Enough making allowances for this kid. As if we don't remember how you took a knee and got up at the count of 10. 'F*****g coward,'" Spence wrote on Twitter.

And Ryan responded: "Please, let's do it. I'd be happy to destroy you and finish the job. Crawford almost did it, and I will finish it," Garcia replied.

Garcia first talked about a fight against Spence after his victory over Devin Haney by decision. Errol hasn't fought since July 2023, when he lost prematurely to Terence Crawford and then split with his coach, who is also Ryan Garcia's trainer.
