Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen claims that he will replace former world champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) if Tyson is unable to fight Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) in July.
"I think it was smart of Jake Paul to put my name in the contract as a backup for Tyson, don’t you think?
If Jake Paul realizes that he might fight me in a month, he might have a heart attack," Sonnen wrote.
Recently, 57-year-old Tyson required medical assistance during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. Later, both Mike and Jake confirmed that the fight will take place.
Previously, Ryan Garcia had also offered himself as a replacement candidate.
