Skye Nicolson outboxed Yuliahn Luna

On the night of December 14 at Stockton Arena in Stockton, California, USA, a bout for the interim WBC super bantamweight title (up to 55.3 kg / 122 lb) took place between Australia’s Skye Nicolson (15-1, 3 KOs) and Mexico’s Yuliahn Luna (28-5-1, 4 KOs).

The fight went the full 10 rounds and ended with Nicolson winning by unanimous decision. Judges’ scores: 97-93 and 98-92 twice in favor of the 30-year-old Australian.

This was Nicolson’s third straight victory. Luna snapped a three-fight winning streak.
