24-year-old Briton Hamzah Shiraz (19-0, 15 KOs), holding the WBC Silver middleweight title (up to 72.6 kg), wants his next fight to be against Chris Eubank Jr. (33-3, 24 KOs).
"If it were up to me, I'd like to fight Chris Eubank Jr. In an ideal world, my next fight would be exactly that. Whether it happens, I don't know, but there are plenty of options. If it does happen, I'll be over the moon.
I have everything he dislikes: I'm tall, long, and can box. The only thing he has over me is experience, but there comes a time in your career when that doesn't matter anymore.
Listen, I've had 19 fights, and I'm also building my own experience," said Shiraz.
Hamzah is on a streak of 13 consecutive early victories. Eubank fought only Liam Smith last year, first losing by technical knockout in the 4th round, then winning by technical knockout in the 10th round.
