It’s official — undisputed heavyweight world champion Claressa Shields (16–0, 3 KOs) will defend her titles against IBF light heavyweight champion Lani Daniels (11–2–2, 1 KO) on July 26 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, USA.
The bout will be broadcast live on DAZN.
Shields claimed undisputed status in February with a unanimous decision win over Danielle Perkins, adding yet another division to her historic résumé.
Daniels, meanwhile, comes off a unanimous decision victory over Bolatito Oluwole in September, and now moves up in weight for the biggest challenge of her career.
