Shevadzutsky with an Important Message for Ukraine

Ukrainian heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) Igor Shevadzutsky (11-1, 9 KOs) commented on the upcoming fight against 42-year-old Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev (30-3, 14 KOs).

"I'm from Ukraine, you know there's a war going on there right now. I want to thank everyone who is helping my country. Also, thanks to my family, friends, and coach for making this fight happen. We are free people and believe we will win.

I also want to thank my team for the chance to be here. Thank you to Kubrat, the organizers. Most of all – to my coach, my family, all my friends. Also, I want to thank God because he shows us the way, and I follow this path," said Shevadzutsky.

The fight will take place on March 30th in Sofia, Bulgaria. This will be the main event of the show, with the WBA International heavyweight title on the line.

Previously, Pulev was scheduled to fight Mahmoud Charr (34-4, 20 KOs), but he injured his bicep and will not be able to participate in the fight. Shevadzutsky agreed to the confrontation one week before stepping into the ring.

The broadcast of the boxing evening will start on March 30th at 19:00.
