Shelestyuk is Ready to Fight in December. A Rematch or a Renowned Opponent?

Ukrainian welterweight boxer (up to 66.7 kg) and 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Taras Shelestyuk (19-0-1, 13 KOs) has revealed when he's prepared to step into the ring:

"I'm ready to fight in December. I can't wait to return to the ring. This is my path to a 20th victory. I am unbeaten, and I am a free agent. I have no promoter, manager, or advisor," said Shelestyuk.

Earlier, the Ukrainian mentioned several options for his next bout. The first was against Venezuelan Gabriel Maestre (6-0-1, 5 KOs). Shelestyuk fought him in March 2022, with that bout resulting in the only draw in Taras's record:

"Congratulations to Maestre on his performance. It's time for a rematch because everyone knows I won the first fight," Shelestyuk commented.

Shelestyuk also didn't shy away from discussing prominent names. When discussing future prospects, the Ukrainian listed a specific group of opponents he would like to face: Keith Thurman, Yordenis Ugas, and Mario Barrios.
