Shakur Knows Why Haney Lost to Garcia

WBC lightweight (up to 61,2 kg) champion American Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) explained why he believes WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney (31-1, 15 KOs) lost to Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs).

"Three pounds (about 1.5 kg) – that's a lot in boxing. Don't let Ryan fool you.

Devin was drained making weight, while Ryan felt good," said Stevenson.

Haney and Garcia met on the night of April 21st. Devin experienced his first career defeat, being knocked down three times.

Later, Ryan discussed how much he and his opponent earned for the fight. Haney claims that Garcia's figures about the purses are incorrect.
