Shakur Comments on Possible Lomachenko vs. Berinchyk Fight

WBC lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) commented on the potential Ukrainian bout between IBF and IBO titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) and WBO champion Denys Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs).

«Cmon now Loma this can’t be the next option,» wrote Shakur.

On May 12, Vasyl Lomachenko defeated George Kambosos (21-3, 10 KOs) by technical knockout, and on the night of May 19, Denys Berinchyk won by split decision against Emanuel Navarrete (38-2-1, 31 KOs).

Shakur Stevenson is set to defend his title on July 6 against Artem Harutyunyan (12-1, 7 KOs).
