Serrano–Taylor 3 Attracts More Than 4 Million Viewers

The trilogy fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor posted outstanding streaming numbers on Netflix. According to figures released by Serrano’s promoter and event organiser Jake Paul, the live broadcast drew 4.2 million viewers. Overall, the all-women’s Madison Square Garden card — every bout from first bell to last — was watched by 6 million subscribers.

Remember: anyone with a Netflix account could tune in; there was no additional pay-per-view fee.

For context, this year’s NBA All-Star Game pulled in 4.72 million viewers, while the Stanley Cup Final averaged 2.8 million.

Seventeen championship belts were on the line that night—a record haul for a single boxing card. In the main event Katie Taylor clinched her third straight victory over Amanda Serrano, winning by judges’ decision.
