Serhii Lapin on Usyk vs. Dubois: “This Will Be a Unique Event”

Serhii Lapin, co-founder of Ready to Fight and director of the team of WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), commented on the announcement of Usyk’s next bout against IBF titleholder Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

The Usyk vs. Dubois rematch is scheduled for July 19 at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom. At stake will be the title of undisputed heavyweight world champion (over 90.7 kg).

In December, Oleksandr Usyk also defeated Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in their rematch. Meanwhile, in February, Daniel Dubois was scheduled to defend his title against Joseph Parker, but had to withdraw due to illness.
