Serhii Bohachuk Set to Clash with Bryan Mendoza

Ukrainian powerhouse Serhii Bohachuk (23-1, 23 KOs) has been matched with a new opponent, American brawler Bryan Mendoza (22-3, 16 KOs), in a fight that will see the victor claim the WBC "interim" middleweight title (up to 69.85 kg).

Originally, Bogachuk was scheduled to face Sebastian Fundora (20-1-1, 13 KOs) for the full WBC championship title. However, on March 18, it was announced that Fundora would step in for Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs) against WBO middleweight champion Tim Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs).

The bout between Fundora and Tszyu is officially for the WBO and WBC belts, with the WBO president stating that the winner is expected to face Terence Crawford next.

This boxing event is set to light up Las Vegas on March 30th, marking the first tournament to be broadcast on Amazon Prime.
