Ukrainian junior middleweight contender Serhii Bohachuk (24-2, 23 KOs) shared his thoughts on the upcoming clash between Israil Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs) and interim WBC champion Vergil Ortiz (22-0, 21 KOs), scheduled for February 22.
"I think it’ll go the full 12 rounds, and Madrimov will win this fight by decision... I believe Madrimov will take it, and I’m ready to fight him in the future. Let’s go!" said Bohachuk.
As a reminder, Bohachuk was originally set to face Madrimov on December 21, but the bout was canceled due to Madrimov suffering from acute bronchitis. Ismael Davis (13-1, 6 KOs) stepped in as his replacement.
