Ukrainian super welterweight Serhii Bohachuk (25-2, 24 KOs) discussed who could become his opponent in a bout for the world championship belt.
“I really wanted this and now I’m closer than ever to achieving it. Right now, I’m just waiting to find out who and when I’ll be fighting. Everything else is secondary. The champion’s belt currently belongs to Fundora. He has a fight with Spence, so maybe my next fight will be against the winner of that pair.
Another option is that Fundora might vacate the belt, and I’ll face a different opponent for the vacant title. For me, being a contender for the world title is extremely motivating. It’s a huge step in my career,” Bohachuk said.
In his previous bout, Serhii Bohachuk stopped Ishmael Davis by sixth-round TKO.
