Akui emerged victorious, bagging a unanimous nod from the judges with scores of 116-112, 117-111, and 119-109. This fight marked Dalakian's seventh guard of the belt he snagged back in 2018 on American soil, triumphing over Brian Viloria. As for Akui, he's been unbeatable since his 2018 technical knockout defeat in the 8th round.
