Sebastian Fundora on Crawford: "We Talked About a Fight"

WBC and WBO junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) shared his thoughts on a potential fight with WBA titleholder in the same division, Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs).

"I would love to make it happen. He has the WBA belt. I want to become the undisputed champion, just like my sister Gabriela, and that means I’ll have to go through him.

I saw him here in Hamburg. I met him. We got acquainted in New York before his fight with Spence. We even took a picture together. He’s a good guy and, of course, a talented fighter. But business is business.

When I met him in Canastota (New York, USA), we talked about a fight. But business is one thing, and talk is another. Let’s see if it happens someday," said Fundora.

In March, Fundora defeated Tim Tszyu via split decision. In August, Terence Crawford moved up to junior middleweight, defeating Israil Madrimov to claim the WBO belt and the interim WBO championship.
