The team of WBC and WBO junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) is close to finalizing an agreement for his next fight. The likely opponent will be American fighter Chordale Booker (23-1, 11 KOs).

According to ESPN sources, the fight is set to take place in March. Previously, Fundora was in talks for a bout with Errol Spence, but that fight was canceled. A potential unification showdown with Terence Crawford has been postponed to the second half of 2025.

Fundora’s most recent outing was in March 2024, when he defeated Australia’s Tim Tszyu. Booker is riding a six-fight win streak, with his last loss dating back to 2022 against Ammo Williams.
