Schofield Stops Farmer in the First Round

On the night of 29 June at Honda Center in Anaheim, USA, Floyd Schofield (19-0, 13 KO) met Tevin Farmer (33-9-1, 8 KO) in a scheduled 10-rounder for the WBA Continental North America Lightweight title (135 lb / 61.2 kg).

The bout lasted barely a minute. Schofield floored Farmer twice, and although Tevin beat the count each time, the relentless pressure forced the referee to wave it off moments later—KO 1.

For Farmer it’s a fourth straight defeat; before tonight he fell to Raymond Muratalla and twice to William Zepeda.
