Speculation Swirls: Will Pacquiao Return to the Ring Against Khan in Saudi?

Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan are on the verge of a bout. Khan, from the UK, has talked up the interest from Saudi organizers:

"It's tricky, you know? You get mixed signals. But there's interest for sure. Manny's team is up for it, and the Saudis are pushing to host it in Riyadh. It's set to be a massive fight.

If setting up our fight drags on, I might have to walk away. You need clarity in this game. I've been waiting forever. How could I pass up a fight I've waited this long for? This is the fight of my dreams. Pacquiao is a boxing icon. Facing Manny would be a huge motivator for me. He's the ideal opponent. We've sparred together. We know each other well. My last fight with Kell Brook wasn't the highlight of my career. I believe I can do much better," Khan explains.

Khan's last fight was in February 2022, losing to Kell Brook, with later reports of banned substances in his tests. Pacquiao hasn't been in the ring since August 2021, after losing to Yordenis Ugas.
