"I'm a Different Animal": Ryan Promises to Smash Haney

First super lightweight boxer American Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) has issued a formidable promise to deal with his future opponent, WBC champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs).

"Devin Haney is scared, and he should be. I'm a different animal, and he's not ready for me. I wanted to see Haney's media workout, and that shit was weak. You journalists have hyped him up. When he was hitting the bag, I swear, I could teach a 12-year-old boy to hit harder. Bring me a 12-year-old boy, and I can teach him to hit much sharper than Devin Haney. You journalists are hyping up some bullshit. No, go ahead and praise him. That's good. Hype him up. I'm going to finish this son of a bitch, you'll see," said Ryan at a press conference.

Haney and Garcia will meet in a title fight on April 20th in New York. The opponent for Sergey Derevyanchenko, who will be boxing on the undercard of this confrontation, was previously announced.
