American WBC lightweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) reacted to comments made by Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs).
In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Ryan commented on Stevenson: "Nobody's scared of Shakur. He's a good boxer, but in my opinion, there's nothing special about him. Ok, you know how to move, but it's nothing like Gervonta or me. I know when someone is on another level, and he's definitely not one of them."
Shakur didn't stay silent and responded: "Lol, if that isn't the scariest shit I've heard... So you can beat me or not? Everything else doesn't matter, Scary Ryan. That's exactly why you would give a chance to everyone but me."
Ryan Garcia's next fight is scheduled for April 20th against the WBC super lightweight champion (up to 140 lbs) Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) in New York, USA.
Shakur Stevenson won the WBC lightweight title in November against Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs).
