Ryan Garcia: "I'm Not Dead"

Light welterweight boxer Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) addressed his fans, responding to a bizarre post from his ex-wife, who claimed on her Instagram that Garcia had died.

"I'm here to explain what's happening. I don't have a phone, I can't access my Instagram. My cards are blocked. Personally, I just wanted to send out a video to people who love me, my fans, family – I'm okay. I'm not dead, I believe in Jesus, all these rumors are lies. They tried to put me in jail. Cards are blocked, I can't access my money. I don't know what's happening, but just know that I'm okay," Garcia said.

Ryan's next fight is scheduled for April 20th. The bout against Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) will be for the WBC belt.
