Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney to Fight on the Same Card in May

American boxer Ryan Garcia (24–1, 20 KOs) and WBC "in recess" junior welterweight champion Devin Haney (31–0, 15 KOs) are set to return to the ring in May, according to Ring Magazine.

Garcia and Haney will headline the same boxing event in the USA, though they will face different opponents. Should both fighters emerge victorious, a highly anticipated rematch between Ryan and Devin is slated for October at the Riyadh Season tournament in Saudi Arabia.

Turki Alalshikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, revealed on his social media that he has signed a contract with Garcia and teased, “Big news coming soon.”

The agreement is signed. The opponent is set. Big news soon. Exclusive in Ring Magazine... Let’s make boxing great again!” — Turki Alalshikh.

In April, Garcia sent Haney to the canvas three times en route to a judges’ decision victory. However, the result was later nullified due to Ryan’s failed doping test, leading to a one-year suspension for the athlete.
