"I'll Bite Off Both Ears." Ryan's Bizarre Announcement for Fight with Haney

American super lightweight (up to 63,5 kg) boxer Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) claims he could bite off both ears of his opponent, WBC champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), during their bout.

"I can bite Haney's ears. Mike Tyson bit off one ear.

I'll bite off both. I'm hungry," Garcia wrote.

Ryan will face Haney in a title fight on April 20 in New York. Mike Tyson, on June 28, 1997, in a rematch against Evander Holyfield in Las Vegas, bit off a piece of his opponent's ear, resulting in his disqualification.

After that defeat, Mike returned to the ring two years later.
