Ryan Garcia Announces Fight in Japan

American boxer Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) has announced an exhibition match in Japan. The event is scheduled for December 30 in Tokyo, with local kickboxer Rukiya Anpo as his opponent.

In July, Anpo faced former Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) in a boxing match that ended in a draw.

In April, Garcia defeated Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) by decision; however, the result was overturned due to Garcia’s failed doping test, leading to a one-year suspension. In January, Garcia is set for another exhibition bout against Frenchman Jaber Zayani (18-0, 11 KOs) in Dubai, UAE.
