Ruiz on the Fight with Miller: "Ready for Rock-n-Roll"

Former world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs) is set to meet Jarrell Miller (26-1-1, 22 KOs) on August 3rd in Los Angeles. The boxers commented on the fight.

Ruiz is excited about his return – he has not boxed since 2022.

"I am very happy to be back. Life has had its ups and downs, but I am glad that God gave me another chance. I am ready to rock and roll.

August 3rd will be the return of the consistent Andy Ruiz," said Ruiz.

Jarrell is positive about his next opponent but promises not to spare him in the ring.

"It’s a great fight. I can’t wait to do what I do best – kick ass. And after that, Andy and I will go out for a pint.

I will be killing myself in camp. This time no empty talk. He’s not the kind of opponent for that. I feel nothing but love for Ruiz. But as soon as one of us gets hit, it won’t be about friendship," said Miller.

The Ruiz vs. Miller fight will take place on August 3rd on the undercard of the bout between Terence Crawford and Israil Madrimov. The full list of the undercard for this top tournament is available here.
