Former world champion Roy Jones Jr. says he’s willing to climb through the ropes against Floyd Mayweather Jr. The American responded to a clip Floyd posted on social media in which Mayweather watches fights where Jones ends up losing—apparently a reply to Roy’s recent claim that Sugar Ray Leonard would have beaten Floyd in his prime.
“Everyone’s entitled to an opinion—nothing wrong with that. I’ve got my thoughts, and I have the right to voice them.
If somebody was trying to send me a subliminal message, well, it worked.
Since you want to prove you’re better than me, I’m always ready—open for it. I’m ready to fight. Just give me a call,” Jones told FightHype.
