Rodriguez Enters Top 5 P4P by The Ring

On June 29, American IBF and WBO flyweight champion (up to 50.8 kg) Jesse Rodriguez (20-0, 13 KOs) moved up in weight and claimed the WBC super flyweight title (up to 52.2 kg) by brutally knocking out Mexican Juan Francisco Estrada (44-4, 28 KOs) in the 7th round.

Following this dominant victory, the oldest boxing publication, The Ring, released an updated ranking of the best boxers regardless of weight category, in which the 24-year-old Rodriguez jumped from 9th to 5th place.
