Finnish boxer Robert Helenius (31-4, 19 KOs) commented on his loss to Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) at a boxing night in Brooklyn.
"I'm fine. I'm a little sad because I thought I could do better. But he just caught me. This is boxing. Congratulations to Wilder, he is a good man. I respect him very much."
"I'm glad to see that there are good guys in our sport who feel real love and respect. I feel humbled. I'm glad I lost to an opponent like Wilder. All good to me".
"Will I end my career? I can't say yet. Time will tell," Helenius summed up.
The fight took place at the Barclay Center arena in Brooklyn. Deontay knocked out Helenius in the first round.
Wilder's victory over Robert made the American a contender for the WBC heavyweight championship belt held by Tyson Fury.
