Riyadh Season 2025: The Return of Matchroom vs Queensberry and Global Shows

The head of the General Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh, spoke about the plans for Riyadh Season in 2025:

“We’re currently negotiating the organization of another 5 vs 5 showdown between Queensberry and Matchroom in our country—sometime after Ramadan, either April or May. We’re also discussing the possibility of a summer event, the official opening of Riyadh Season in October, and a joint December event with the Japanese featuring Naoya Inoue.

As for Riyadh Season, I can say on behalf of The Ring that there are two major surprises in the works—we’ll announce them soon. One will take place in England, and the other in the U.S. this year,” Turki said.
