David Feldman, President of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) – the world's most renowned bare-knuckle fighting promotion, revealed in an interview with MMA Fighting that former world champion and two-time Olympic champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (22-3, 15 KOs) will be making his debut in their promotion.
The Cuban's debut is scheduled for May 11th at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
Rigondeaux's last two boxing matches took place in 2023. He won by knockout in the 1st round against Jesus Martinez (33-17-1, 16 KOs) and by knockout in the 7th round against Charlie Clemente-Andino (12-0, 5 KOs). Prior to this, Guillermo suffered two consecutive losses – in 2021 to John Riel Casimero and in 2022 to Vicente Astrolabio.
