The head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, has unveiled a series of major boxing events set to take place in the near future.
Additionally, negotiations are underway to organize a major show in San Francisco, as well as potential collaborations with Top Rank and Al Haymon.
“We have Tottenham Stadium, where Eubank and Benn will face off 30 years after their fathers’ legendary battle. Now it’s the sons’ turn to settle the score. We’ve got a great undercard planned. The event is set for April 26 in London.
Then, on May 2, we’re putting on a massive show in America. Expect a lot of surprises. And after that, on May 3, we’ll head to Saudi Arabia for Canelo’s fight for the undisputed championship.
We’re in discussions with representatives in the U.S. and looking to set up something special in San Francisco. Hopefully, we can pull it off this year. It’s going to be something crazy for boxing fans.
I’ll be heading to the U.S. soon to meet with key figures in sports and the business world. Right now, we’re in talks with Top Rank on multiple projects, as well as Al Haymon on other plans. We’ll see where it all leads.
This week, the Kingdom is hosting one of the greatest boxing nights in history. I hope you all enjoy it,” said Alalshikh.
