Rematch Set: Wardley and Clarke to Meet Again

The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) has ordered a rematch between British and Commonwealth heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) champion Fabio Wardley (17-0-1, 16 KOs) and Frazer Clarke (8-0-1, 6 KOs). Purse bids must be submitted by August 14, with the fight set to take place in December 2024.

The first bout between Wardley and Clarke took place on March 31 and ended in a draw. The fight was action-packed, with Clarke being knocked down in the 5th round and penalized for low blows in the 7th round.

The punch stats from the first fight were as follows:

Wardley landed 151 of 476 (31.7%) punches. Clarke landed 157 of 469 (33.5%).

Wardley landed 66 of 231 (28.6%) jabs. Clarke landed 65 of 222 (29.3%).

Wardley landed 85 of 245 (34.7%) power punches. Clarke landed 92 of 247 (37.2%).

Regarding body shots:

Wardley landed 35 body shots, 29 of which were power punches.

Clarke landed 16 body shots, all of which were power punches.
